About Nairobi International Trade Fair 2026
The Nairobi International Trade Fair (NITF) runs September 28 - October 4, 2026 at Jamhuri Park, Nairobi. Organized by the Agricultural Society of Kenya, this is the country's oldest and largest exhibition, featuring:
- Livestock competitions — Kenya's finest cattle, sheep, goats, and poultry
- Agricultural machinery demonstrations
- Horticulture and flower displays
- Handicrafts and cottage industry products
- Food and beverage exhibitions
- Innovation and technology pavilions
- International trade pavilions from partner countries
The 2026 theme focuses on innovation and technology in agriculture and trade, reflecting Kenya's position as East Africa's economic hub.
The Unique NITF Location
Jamhuri Park sits on the edge of Nairobi National Park — the world's only wildlife reserve bordering a capital city. From the exhibition grounds, you can see:
- Giraffes silhouetted against the city skyline
- Lions roaring in the distance during evening events
- Buffalo and zebra visible from certain vantage points
- The iconic Nairobi National Park entrance arch
This proximity makes NITF the only major trade fair in the world where you can close a business deal and photograph a rhino within the same hour.
